40. About you: Chapter - Science serving power (14)
Let's pose the question: what is the boundary, and is there a boundary between the scientific, philosophical, and religious understanding of the world, and what is the world? Perhaps we can begin the answer by noting that the understanding of the world and the universe through metaphysics and science differs in terms of what we attribute to knowledge, awareness and consciousness. If knowledge refers to the understanding of ourselves, then we have chosen metaphysical (space, spirit) understanding and eternal knowledge. On the other hand, if knowledge is related to today's scientific (matter, time) understanding, then we have chosen time-dependent knowledge. Only metaphysical, synthesizing knowledge provides answers and explanations for human spiritual qualities such as heroism, honesty, integrity, love, humility, or happiness. Scientific, analytical knowledge cannot claim that these human qualities do not exist and must admit that it lacks the necessary knowledge or methods to understand and explain metaphysical human qualities.
What connects the two modes of understanding, the two kinds of knowledge, is that both include a final goal, purpose. From the perspective of metaphysics, the purpose is spiritual, such as the purpose of life being existence. Scientific purpose, in contrast, is material and results-oriented, like performing a physical or chemical experiment or interpreting a process with formulas, diagrams, simulations, and models. Metaphysics deals with the eternal, that is, events outside time, while science deals with that which changes within time and space. Thus, the second point of connection is the human being, who unites space and time within themselves. We need both methods of investigation and connection because, due to our duality, we must understand both our earthly life and our existence beyond. The problem arises when we reverse the order of importance, as happens today, when analytical science has taken precedence over synthesizing knowledge.
The middle group consists of those few people, even if they do not know each other, who live their lives with one foot on the earth and the other in heaven. They are the awakened ones, whose existential needs are fulfilled. They do not collect, they do not rush, they avoid those who wield power, they are happy, serene, they enjoy life, and they constantly work on preparing their souls for existence and helping others in this process. They recognize the possibilities of analogical thinking, for example, that the world is a set, relation, and network of dualities, that what is above is the same as what is below, and they are part of this duality. They are the people who walk the golden middle path, those who have a way forward. They know that life is the organized order and hierarchy of elements, where each hierarchy and structure has a specific function, and these functions are interconnected and organized into a network.
They
understand that if the preservation of life requires it, self-regulating
structures can also recognize that life is characterized by dynamic balance and
change, because only in life can matter turn into energy and energy turn into
matter. Such converters exist in nature in living beings, such we humans are.
They already know that life is the interaction of existing potentials, which
manifests primarily in cycles, continuous renewal, self-organization, and
self-regulation, in constant formation and disintegration. In short, in order.
From this group emerge the spiritually arrived, universal humans, or the true
community of teachers, who are very few. Finally, there are those who form a
transition between the groups, who are already more balanced because they have
started on the path of awakening. They begin to see that not only the tangible
world exists but that perhaps something intangible exists beyond it. Not only
the stage story exist, not only the message conveyed by the mediums, but also
something is hidden behind the curtain.
