20. The middle of the cross

The cross is the intersection point of space and time, which need to be found in everyone, as it provides the possibility of returning. The cross is the channel opened by our Initiation Master and is open ever since for the spiritual man, wanting to return and born for the second time. Those, not knowing the returning way by the cross are out from reality, and this is not a question of religion. Since the separation from the One and Only, everyone carries in himself the intersection point of life (horizontal) and existence (vertical). The call of our Initiating Master is to pick up the cross, in other words to show our better side, to turn the other cheek, meaning to take care to our existence, verticality and space. Let's not sink into the horizontal life, the time, the material because is more to come. Beyond the vertical (i.e. to look up the sky, or raise your head towards the sky) is the space, where time runs out. This is the emptiness/wholesomeness where the "I am" of the individual ego ceases, and the “we are”, or the universal ego enters instead. When we describe something as heavenly, we just express the verticality of space and all what is grandiose and perfect.

Therefore, the conscious, spiritual man accepts his cross and does not escape from it, otherwise he would fail to understand the duality of the cross. The cross is for everyone, wanted or unwanted, because having arrived in time we received the possibility of returning. The returning “tool”, the way is the cross. If we approach the transcendence of the cross from the side of morality, we undertake the impossible because there is no good cross or bad cross, only the cross. The old alliance is void the cross or space, only time is accepted.

Into the life of the created man, the cross was brought by our Initiation Master, his teachings and life examples show us how to rise to the vertical level and fulfil the vocation, because without these, there is no common space and existence with the One and Only. Order making means detachment from ignorance, and the ability to change, when for example, we can create order from disorder, truth from lie and existence from life. As the life is neither good nor bad, just life, so the cross is neither good nor bad. Our Initiation Master teachings are not about morals, but about the truth, order, freedom, space and time, life and existence. Morality is required for time and life, and our Initiating Master prepares us for existence. Therefore the old alliance is rather material and philosophic, while the new alliance is about faith, cross and transcendence. We may even say that those who do not have the cross should look after it.

If we are suffering, we are responsible for it. We cause our own suffering, because our ignorance and fear happens to be greater than our trust in a further possibility in an open gate to pass across. Getting through the gate always means a new opportunity where something closes and something opens. We can also say that we must lose our life, the "I am" state, in order to find our existence, the "we are" state, to move from time to space. To achieve the "I am not yet”, but “I shall be" status. If the closing and opening of the gates follows each other, then it will alternate, i.e. fluctuate. The vigilant soul can see the opening of the gate and is able to pass through. The stunned, sleepy soul does not notice the opening of the gate, therefore is lost. So, universality is about fluctuations, pulsations, openings and closures. Thus, space alternates itself, sometimes straight and sometime is curved. At the curved stage time appears. The alternation is much like birth and death, re-birth and re-death. Since there is no time in existence, these alternations can happen even simultaneously, and as such is circulating. Existence is the spatial alternation, i.e. a cycle. In the existence the soul is circulating also, and as is the carrier of love (vigilance), then love is circulating also. Thus, if love ceases, the existence ceases.

The interdependence of the cross, space and time can be traced in the Passion stations of our Initiation Master. The stations have several teachings to us. One is, not to be afraid from taking up the cross, otherwise we shall not have the opportunity to experiment existence in our lives. The other is to stand up after we fall. The third teaching is that once the material and spiritual has been created to our earthly life, we should duly apply both and taking over surplus responsibilities as our Initiation Master did, otherwise is neither order making, nor access to existence.
